The PTO and belt pulley are integral with the transmission and get oil from the transmission. I think everything is OK. There would not be more than a cup or so in the housing. As long as your transmission is up to the level plug that is on the right side rear of the transmission housing you are OK. This is a 1/4 or 3/8 NPS pipe plug about the level of the axle, right side, just in front of the PTO/belt pulley housing.
