I would think it could be. Does it work better when the oil is warm???? Om my M with a live pump I went with a 3/4" or 1 in. inlet feed. Took out the belly pump and made a cover out of plate. For the oil fill and breather I made a dip stick attached to a washer , then a pipe coupler with a piece of tail pipe extended up towards the gas tank. Put a oil breather cap on top of tail pipe. You have to unscrew the coupler on upwards to add or check the oil but no more oil spilling out the top.
