Just a thought, seems like you said you cracked the block with an easy out. If the crack is not to long can you drill it out and use a larger pipe plug say like 3/4- 1"? if you can, don't tighten it too tight use pipe dope or teflon tape an just snug it. Lots of luck, Geo.
