I just got a cub for doing my gardening work. Never owned a tractor of any sort in my life. Matter of fact, never had a garden. Did some checking around and found that it is a 1949 IH Farmall Cub model. Runs like a cherry and has a sickle mower, cultivator?, ditch or single spade?, another couple of do-dads with tines on it and a drawbar type hitch. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I need to check before I run it? It leaks a little oil so that one is obvious. I tried the mower out last night when the guy delivered it and it worked fine but I dont want to run her anymore till I check everything. TIA Gerald
