Major considerations are: 1 How well does it work? 2 What does it cost? 3 What is the flashpoint temperature for fire? 4 How or where are you gonna get rid of the stuff? Mineral spirits works pretty well on most stuff, and it's not outrageous in price. The flashpoint, or temperature at which it ignites can be a VERY important consideration. You don't want a fire in this stuff! Getting rid of the waste is a matter of convenience, legality, and concience. It shouldn't be just "dumped" anywhere! Once used, it may actually qualify as a "hazardous" substance, and be restricted in terms of hauling it, storing it, and getting rid of it.
