I'm gonna have to agree with both Haas and Red. The liftall unit SHOULD allow you to lower the 3pt with some degree of control. On mine, I found I could carefully handle the lever and get results, even with a heavy load. I did install an adjustable restrictor valve in the line, however, mostly as a safety and conveniece measure. Mine came from Northern, and it works well.
