Any Cub I have evertaken apart Has a throw out bearing, a splined shaft , and linkage. The throw out bearing is fixed to the collar that it is in . There are no other parts. I checked two parts books and both confirm this. The only path for the grease pumped into the bearing via the grease fitting is into the cavity around the carbon and out the weep hole. Sorry, but we are either miscommunicating or you have a setup I've never seen and which doesn't appear in any parts books I have. If you have a parts book post to part number for the collat the bearing rides on. John
