Question #1- The original seat could have been either a plain metal pan or a padded seat (not much padding) with a black cloth cover. The cloth resembled a heavy cotton duck material, not vinyl. #2- Keep the steering wheel. If it not in too bad shape, it can be repaired with body putty and painted to look like new. If it is beyond that, there are some folks who can recover it in rubber for you. Look in Red Power magazine for the advetisments. #3- I got my decals from John Hiniker. Again, check Red Power ads for a phone number. Some I have seen have the wrong design for a 1941. Especially some I have seen for sale on ebay. A 1941 should have "McCormick-Deering" in small letters at the top and "Farmall" in large letters, without any IH block logo. The block logo didn't start until 1945 or so. There will be several smaller decals in the pack that are pretty much self explanatory where they go. Check Guy Fay's book if you are not sure of any of them. Good Luck! Old tractor fever is usually incurable.
