Unless it is completely worn out, it probably is ok. Those were good balers but it's a long way from being new. It may be a 60's vintage piece of equipment. We had a 14T John Deere at home when I was a young guy, but we were envious of those that had the 45's and 46's because their knotters worked well and our JD didn't. Value? Who knows? Here in the upper midwest that would probably go for $150-$300 in fair condition.
