p makes many good points with his list of concerns. I've seen(twice) an H with a Ford 302 under the hood. The owner even went so far as to put racing headers on it. All he has to do is tap the throttle and it takes off like a rocket. That sucker was FAST! I think he only puts it in shows.

As for can something be adapted - yes, anything can be adapted with enough time, money, and thinking.
