Around Central Texas these go real cheap. Probably no more than $500 or so for a tricycle version with a IH WFE equipped one going for double that.
Most of them get converted back to gasoline due to the pain of refueling. It really isn't a pain, but it's pretty hard to lug a 500 gallon propane tank to the back of the pasture/field when you run out while working. Gas cans are just a lot easier.
