Jim: I had a very similar question about 10+ years ago with my older Case backhoe. I felt the dealer wanted way too much $$ so I went to a clutch and U-joint speciality parts store and they matched everything. I looked all parts over very closely as I did NOT want to have to re-split that backhoe again. I used the parts with no trouble of any kind for several more years.. So bottom line I will suggest that non IH parts may do just as well.. Good luck in which ever way you go.. I will also have to split my "C" this spring so keep us informed.. Thanks. Harvey
