In order to remove the axle you have split the solid cast iron style single front wheel hub. The axle has a flange in the center the keeps the wheel centered on the axle shaft. So remove the entire axle/hub assembly from the tractor. Then take out the four cross bolts in the hub. then with a little banging you should be able to split the hub in halves and pull the axle out. be prepared, i had to make a new axle and bore out and press in bushings into my hubs as they were worn pretty badly. I bought my tire from M./E. Miller in Wauseon, Ohio the size was 750-10 3 rib front($85.00). i think they have a link in the advertisers section on this website(419)335-7010. I don't live all that far away so I went and picked mine up, so I can't tell you what shipping would be if you can't find it locally. Feel free to email or post any other questions you might have.. ~Brian
