Now I have spark on my 1948 cub from the auction

Thanks for all your wonderful suggestions, I now have spark but the mag needs timing. I do have a book but shows only one mark on the pulley, but I have two marks. How do I time the mag to see if this old cub will run again? It has the orginal coil on it by the way. Maybe I got a pig in the poke at the auction!!!
