Gentlemen: My Farmall C developed a radiator leak over the winter, in the upper water tank area. I removed the radiator and had a shop find the leak, resolder it, pressure test it, etc. Well, I might as well have set fire to $80. It still leaks in now, apparently a different area around the upper tank. Questions: Rather than go through this resoldering exercise again, can the radiator be recored by local people, somewhat quickly, or must I send it away to a tractor specialist? I'm near enough to the Washington, DC, area to have access to several automotive radiator repair places. Does any leak make the tractor unusable because the system is no longer sufficiently pressurized? If not, can I run the tractor as is for short intervals (leak rate perhaps a drop a second) to mow grass with a big underbelly mower? The other option is to use our Lawnboy push mower, which will be great for my wife's heart and waistline, but bad for the marriage. Just joking. Anyhow, I am a bit desperate, and need this forum's expert advice. Thanks, in advance.

It was the only
