Tim, For a Zenith carburetor with the two half's apart turn the top upside down. Now measure with the gasket to the top of float, should be
1-5/32". You may have to make some finer adjustments. I have a Zenith and I still have to make an adjustment, after having it apart serveral times. Hope you can get it where it belongs. Make sure that the float swings nice and free on the pivot shaft, and also that it doesn't hang up on the sides of the boul.The gas is different that when it used to be, and this doesn't help either.
