RE glow plugs: If you must spend big bucks replacing the gps, just to see if it starts and runs ok, try these two tips: (but one at a time!). On a warm day (75F) have someone hold a gasoline soaked rag at the air intake.(air filter removed) Crank tractor. As the motor fires, remove rag to decrease revs, bring it closer to supply more "fuel". As the motor gets warm, the diesel fuel will burn and you remove the rag and replace the air filter. Another solution is to remove the air filter and heat the air passages hot (wide flamed torch such that the incoming air will be heated enough to permit the diesel to ignite. Done both but the first works even at 10*F. Be sure to have someone to remove and replace the rag as you will have no way to control RPM and it will over rev! Also be sure to destroy the gas rag - you would not want to burn the shed now that you have it running! Let us know what happens.

It was the only
