Guy. as long as the base of the mag was not turned your timing will be ok. but you will still need to point the rotor to the right plug at tdc (top dead center). as far as no spark maybe try new condencer(capacitor), and secondly make sure the rotor is turning when you crank the starter , maybe your drive gear to the base of the mag is stripped . try again and ask here again if you dont find problem. speed bump
