Back to Harold IH cerntainly could have used the smaller engine in the 55 series, I have never seen one. Thirty years ago we used to put up over 200 hundred acres of hay with A pair of them. They were not over powered either. They were dependable though. In heavy hay it was hard to get A tractor to go slow enough. A farmall H with A low first worked good, but an allis WC couldnt go slow enough without stalling.
