Check the clutch linkage. The cross shaft that the TO fork is on has slots to engage heavy washers that are on the bolts of that clamp the throw out fork to the shaft. Also, the pressure plate assembly has to be properly adjusted. And if you bought a new pressure plate, did you take out the three bolts that compress the clutch springs so you can install it. Those bolts are on the same circle as the bolts that hold the clutch to the flywheel, but just compress the clutch for installation/removal.
