Mike, Don't run the mower/cond too fast,tighten the section hold downs so the are all the proper tightness and go through the thing setting everything so all the slop is gone but don't make it too tight did it break where the pitman bolts to the bar? mine did, twice so I set it up proper and welded it and did a little re enforcement havent broke it yet.---- I am running a $25 IH 45T for the last 12 years run it at a little slower speed and it will only miss a bale every 100 or so bales keep the tensioner tight where the twine exits the twine can/box turn it off on corners, keep the knives sharp and by all means READ the owners manual it will life a whole lot easier and yes, use brazil twine NOT plastic Plastic NEVER goes away it hurts animals and gets caught in machinery Make hay when the sun shines!!!
