574 DIESEL PROBLEMS

JUST INHERITED A 574 DIESEL AND NEED HELP WITH SEVERAL PROBLEMS.
1-NO BRAKES ON EITHER SIDE-
2-LIFT WORKS, BUT IS SLOW AND WHEN DISK IS LIFTED, IT SLOWLY DROPS ABOUT A FOOT AND PICKS ITSELF BACK UP--PULSATES.POWER STEERING WORKS FINE.
3-ENGINE RUNS GOOD, BUT OIL PRESSURE GUAGE NEEDLE PEGGS TO THE HIGH SIDE.
