We have been having continual engine problems with our 1954 IHC 300U. A few friends have heard that several people have used the Chevy 350 engine on the IHC 300U, but obviously you cannot just swap engines. Does anyone have any information on how it is done and what is needed? We used the IHC 300U alot as our major tractor, and have a almost original Farmall H as our supplemental tractor, but there are some things the 300U can do the H can't - 3 point, larger front loader, etc. Any help or direction would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
