Thanks Will for posting the culprit. My neighbor Ernie owns my Grandpa's H. He stopped by one day and I noticed a pretty bad miss and water boiling from the radiator overfill. The temperature gauge didn't work. I had an extra gauge. When I installed a good gauge and ran it that needle went flying into the red zone. Plugged radiator fins was the culprit.
