Tunnel has a good starting point, now factor in the geology of the ocean bottom and the depth both I am sure are more adverse than the English Channel. Check a world atlas for ocean depths and you will find a tunnel between SA and Antartica would need to be deeper than any other structure dug by man. Good luck it will take more power than all the M Farmalls than we have. D-2
