This issue can be a little confusing. International Harvestor built "Farmalls" only as wheel tractors. The tractors built as crawlers were identified as "Internationals", or "McCormick-Deering", as the 10-20 crawler and a number of W series tractors were. The Farmalls were intended as agricultural machines only, and primarily row crop. The Internationals and McCormicks were fixed wide tread, crawlers, and industrials. In some cases, there was little difference in them.

There was, as someone else pointed out, an aftermarket attachment called Arps, used mainly on Fords, but sometimes on other makes. The attached picture is of poor quality...it was taken from the estate sale brochure of a friend, Paul Brecheisen. Many of Paul's tractors are shown in Randy Leffingwell's book,"Farm Tractors, a Living History" but not this one, nor his Oliver 60 standard, which I have.

Paul showed this Super C with Arps at our local show, shortly before his death.
