I split my IH A to replace one of the frost plugs.
I fixed that problem. The water leak (just above the clutch) made a mess of oily goo. Prior to spliting the A the clutch wasn't fully working. None of the goo got into the clutch as far as I can tell. I have cleaned everything as much as possible without pulling the clutch completely off. There was a lot of debris (goo) around the bearing which I figure to replace. Any suggestions about the clutch itself? I don't want to split it again in the near future. I should also mention that the clutch was working great prior to the leak.
