Jim, you don't need to split an H to change the clutch. Remove the belly pan and you can do it all from underneath. You need to remove the "universal" and you drop the whole drive shaft out. You need to put 3 bolts into the clutch to keep clutch and pressure plate together and eventually you will see how it all comes out. If you have a liftall the job is tougher,maybe someone will tell us if splitting is easier with a liftall.If not its a Saturaday morning surgery through the belly pan. Good luck
