The 300/400 seat box was different than the SH/SM/SM-TA. The Number series box had the IH emblem embossed in the back of it. I did some snooping in Engineering when I was at FARMALL back in the late 70's & early 80's. The parts used to make the Super H and Super M/Super M-TA seat base are the SAME, just assembled differently. I still have copys of the prints at home. Even the 560 had a similar seat base except the box was a tool box. The battery was under the hood.
