ASSUMING YOU HAVE THE CORRECT FILTER, ONE PROBLEM WAS THAT THE PREVIOUS OWNER OVER-TIGHTENED THE COVER AND IT IS DISTORTED. BE SURE THE COPPER SEALING RING AROUN THE CENTER BOLT IS GOOD.
