Add a little weight to the front, and you'll likely not hear the sound. There is a big thrust bearing in that front bolster assembly that probably has enough play in it to make the noise you're hearing. If you ever replace it, don't be surprised if there's a series of "dents" in the race where the ball bearings have been pounding it. I've seen them that way from the abuse of driving row-crop front ends across furrows too fast when plowing, and from long-term abuse with a loader.
