International 444 running problems

I can cold start the tractor fine but the engine shuts off after it runs for a while, the only way to get it started again to to put gas down the intake breather. The tractor keeps running out of gas and I have to take off real quick or it will shut off. Also I disconnected the fuel line and gas will flow out of the outlet on the fuel pump but when I try to start it doesn't change, it just pours out. Should it be pumping out or what. I took inlet line off of carbeurator and no gas comes out there. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? This is an international 444. Sandy
