Hey William, sounds like a nice project and a good hobby. I have a pair of them. I have been skinning knuckles on H brakes . If they are not siezed you can do the brakes in less than two hours. My problem was oil leaking from the seal behind the drum, count on lots of extra time for that one, the guys on this forum are great and can help you with anything. The brass bushings cost $11.75 each at my local dealer and if you can find a jobber.. it seemed like highway robbery for such small items , but you have to have them. I have to put a new spring in the throttle and that should do the mechanics. Enjoy your H and good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario.
