Cub Final Drive Seals

Finally decided to drop the final drive pans, clean out the housings and fix a couple of leaks. On the right hand final drive housing the axle end and nut are exposed, I'm told this is for driving accessories like a seeder. The original seal retainer for this axle holds two stacked seals, a leather lip seal and a felt seal-which are leaking. The parts book I have only shows one lip seal. If space permits should I stack two seals in? Seem to remember reading about this somewhere. Thanks in advance. Geoff
