Since I am Dave2N's son and chief wrench, I'll throw in this info; according to his serial #, the tractor is a 1953 SH, since the seat is the old style, and the battery is under the gas tank, we assume it is a "Series 1", it does however have live hydraulics, with the distributor driven pump, and the hydraulic reservior is in the belly. Another question about this tractor; the distributor is mounted upright instead of horizontially like most I have seen. Even our SuperM has the horizontal distributer. Was this an aftermarket deal? or what? thanks, Pete
