HUB, I own three Cubs and it IS a fine little tractor specificly designed for cultivating and built approximately 2/3 the size of the A. A Cub will do the job , but a Super A ,100,130,or 140 will do it easier. The Super A is the tractor of choice of asparagus growers in California.It can be loaded down to twice its weight for planting and holds up to the load . The Super A has more ground clearance and twice the power. I'd go with the Super A,100,130,or 140. Stay away fron the A unless you don't mind a manual lift ( a pneumatic lift on the A is so so if it even works ).
