Okay, when I got home I looked in my "1940 List Prices of McCormick-Deering Implements and Tractors" Dated April 1 1940. It lists, under "attachments (F-12 & F-14)" an electric starting attachment No.38332DA for $60.00, factory installed. Or $85.00 "as an extra" which I take to mean dealer installed. It also lists various combinations of starting and lighting attachments either in combination or separatly. I don't have anything on 1936 models, but, it is likely similar.
