Guy and I had a lot of discussion on the 2 styles of the round decal. He finally found a document in the IH archives that set the date in his book. I don't remember if it was the approved engineering drawing of the new decal or what. The catch is, of course, that an approved change doesn't necessarily make it to the factory in any given time. I have been around a lot of Super A's and NEVER saw an original tractor with the white background decal. I still don't think they were ever used by the factory.
