Did Any Farmall H Drawbars Live????

I have been looking for a center drawbar for BOTH OF MY H"S and everyone the wreckers have looks like mine..welded, globbed up, reinforced and generally trash can material,yet I seldom see an M without a near perfect drawbar. Did the H's have an inheirent weakness in the drawbars or did farmers just put too many pounds on the spreader tongues? I am considering having the local machine shop bend me up a drawbar.. it won't be original but it will look a lot better than what I got.I 'd welcome your thoughts on this issue for it seems that is my experience with H's.
