I've made up my mind to restore my grandfather's 15-30. After I determine how to transport a 6000lb tractor over 700km and rebuild an engine that has not turned over for at least 40 years, I only have one more problem. Will I be able to maneuver this 12 foot beast on my property once I get it running. I only have 8 acres and it will soon be covered with 6 acres of hedgerows of Saskatoons & Cherries. The rows are only 14' appart with 24' between the end of the rows and the shelterbelts or ditches. My concern is that I'll have to crash through my shelterbelt at the end of each row or flip in the ditch just to get around, let alone pull any impliments. Since I just planted last year I can still reposition the plants without to much trouble and increase the distance to the shelterbelts. This spacing is just fine for my little Oliver 70 but what would I need for my new toy? Can anyone let me know. Does this tractor even have separate brakes? Thanks
