Pull my C all the time on a 16' trailor behind my old 86 1/2 ton Chevy with a guttless 305. Can't tell you how important the trailor brakes are though. It aint getting it going but stopping it is the problem. Don't know where your from but here in South West MO you can do everything right and some yo yo will always pull right out in front of you.
