I don't know what you reversed polarity on when replacing things, but the resistor is not polarized. Try placing a jumper across the resistor and see if it runs. The value of the condensor is not critical, if you suspect yours is bad, you can substitute a known good one that will physically fit to see if that helps. Since you replaced all those things at one time, check out all your connections and wiring to be sure they are all tight and not grounded.
