Ace, I had the TA clutch come apart this winter when I had the disturber drive come apart and the engine had a big back fire. The engine was running at a high idle and the TA was in the high side. I had just pulled up to the shop and had gotten off to open the shop door when this happen. Like I said when you turn the TA backwards in the high side it locks up and brings everything to a halt. In my case it torn the TA clutch apart. I put in a new rebuild TA clutch, pressure plate, Main clutch, pressure plate, new throw out bearing in both, all new bearing in the TA and a rebuild over running clutch in the TA. Including the new oil the Bill was just under $800. John In Iowa
