You need to meausure the diameter of the tractor cylinder(s) and then compare it to the log splitter cylinder. Some hydraulic formulas for you. there are 231 cubic inches to the gallon. a 2" diameter cylinder with a 12" stroke. has about a 38cubic inch capacity. and a 4" diameter cylinder with a 12" stroke has a 150 cubic inch capacity. The fluid conductors will not likely make much of a differance on the extention and retraction speed of the cylinder.
