I have found one of these orchard tractors in Florida in an old orange grove. It has all the sheetmetal and is pretty beat up, the seat is missing but the engine will turn over and the tires are still holding air! After reading your messages, I now know where the serial number is and will jot it down the next time I am over there. The sheet over the steering wheel is perforated and looks like it could be reproduced for someone (like Paul) without too much trouble. I am still negotiating a price, as there are two tractors there, the other is a farmall cub and I want them both. I hope we can agree on a price soon. I have been trying to get an old tractor for restoring for a few years. I am also looking at an old Case model C on an old strawberry farm. The best thing about this is the search. These tractors are so secluded that you would never find them but by luck (and perhaps a prayer). My father-in-law sold his JD model A before I could get to it,(complete unrestored and running for $1500) but his tractors are all up in NY and I am in Florida so I need to find something close. Just looking at these old tractors made me feel like I was 15 again. This website is great. Thanks for all the great info. I hope you guys are still out there as these postings are a bid old.

Since this can be extremely difficult, you may want to fabricate the item or purchase a modern replacement temporarily, but eventually, you s
