Looked at a 1947 Cub today. The sheet metal looks in good shape, has been repainted a few years back, no decals. Starts and runs fine, no gear noise. Left rear rim is badly corroded, front end wobbles in road gear, tires fair, no attachments. When I first called the guy he said he didn't know how much he wanted for it. Upon arriving, he said he was asking $3000.00 for it. This seemed kinda high or is he in the ball park? It is on Washington Island in extreme N.E. Wis. One other question. Is the hood and gas tank all one complete unit on these? Thanks for any info.
