This doesn't have anything to do with tractor warranties, but it is rather amusing. My parents had a neighbor who had a Regular Farmall. Someone had installed a housing over the open steering gears. This housing was then filled with oil. I asked the neighbor how often he changed the oil in the steering gears. He said he used Kendall, "The 50,000 mile oil", and had never gotten that far away from home, so didn't need to change the oil.
