I went to a large lawn equipment dealer on Friday to buy one of those large push trimmers for cutting grass up to yer knees. This place is also a John Deere dealer and they sell new JD tractors. I looked at em and thought... mmmmmmm I'll ask this bozo behind the sales counter what a new JD 4300 is base price, no implements, standard everything. comes with a Yanmar (japanese or Korean) diesel 1.5 liter and the guy says to me that would be $12,800 base price. I said I would have to wait for and inheritance or something before I spent that kind of money on a new tractor. Then I said to the guy...well I already have a farmall H a 1944 model still runs good to this day and it was less than $2000. Nothing runs like an International. And I walked out with my new push trimmer.
