The Farmall A and Super A have the same location of the serial number tag.

The engine serial number is near the number one spark plug. Should be on a raised pad.

Look for casting date codes on your tractor. They will look something like this, *4-15-R*
4 = Month
15 = Day
R = Year

Any numbers like: 276 383 R2, are part numbers, not serial numbers or casting date codes.
