what temp does it run put a cooking therm in the radiator cap opening only takes a bit with one of those batt powered therms should run around 160-170 when good and warm your block maybe plugged with junk at the area around the bottom of the sleeves there are passages for the water to flow to the radiator not uncommon to see a lot of junk in this area have torn down three since JAN unreal what you find easiest way to correct is a water pump not hard to do and is a quick fix
